Character Design - Hectrr The Alien

Here is the character design and accompanying sketches for one of the main protagonists in an upcoming comic I am hoping to work on. This is Hectrr, a very small alien who crash landed on Earth after studying human culture for 8 years. Unable to return home, he decides to stick around after being discovered by an isolated human author called Merle in outback Texas.
