Character expression tests - Shaun Jaunson

As an early part of my final year at university, I was testing out style experiments for when I would be would be working on my comic. This was the final character I experimented with, Shaun Jaunson. I drew out 4 different expressions and then tested out two different shading styles to use on the comic - then, I finally combined the two styles in a final example that I could later use in my comic.

This is from a self-directed brief which was to prepare us for our final project, where I would be finishing off my example style that I would be using in the final project in the second semester.
